‘Kupal’ wins Best Foreign Language Award from US fest

Iranian film ‘Kupal’ has succeeded to grab Best Foreign Language Award from the 7th edition of the Weyauwega International Film Festival in the US.

Directed by Kazem Mollaie, ‘Kupal’ narrates the story of Dr. Ahmad Kupal, who is a taxidermist hunter, as he faces a challenge just before the New Year.

The flick has so far attended the competition section of some 25 international film festivals all around the world.

Founded in 2010, the Weyauwega International Film Festival is held annually in Weyauwega, Wisconsin, the US.

It is an international event to celebrate film and filmmaking and to bring together filmmakers from around the world to share their ideas and experiences.

The event was held on November 8-11, 2017.
